Microteaching is organized practice teaching to perform different skills required while delivering a lesson. The goal is to give the student teachers confidence, support, and feedback by letting them try out among friends and colleagues a small segment of what they plan to do with their students.

Ideally, microteaching sessions of 5-6 minutes duration take place before practicing of the full lesson delivery of 10 minutes and are observed by peers and at times videotaped for review individually with an experienced teaching consultant.

Microteaching is a quick, efficient, proven, and fun way to help teachers get off to a strong start and for this very purpose a fully furnished and functional Micro teaching lab is available in the college premises.

Educational Psychology is a basic subject at any level of teacher training therefore a Psychology lab is very important in any College of Education. The D.A.V.
