Journals & Magazines
The library currently subscribes to a number of periodical, journals & magazines related to Education. Total  no. of magazines & journals subscribed is 20. The library keeps a proper record of Newspapers. As many as 7 newspapers are available on daily basis. 'EMPLOYMENT NEWS'  is also subscribed.

Dissertations 
There are 400 dissertations available in library. The M.Ed. students & Researchers can do research with the help of these dissertations.

Synopsis are also available in library.

Library Software  
The S/W used in library is CDS/ISIS (Computerized Documentation Service, Integrated set of IPT system developed by UNESCO). The facilities available on this is to store data & retrieve the data. It is quiet useful in finding the books, dissertations & Reference books by various Keywords like Author, Title, Publisher, Year & Subject wise.   

RULES OF LIBRARY

  1. Personal books, files, copies and other accessories of the user.
  2. Each student should have his/her I-Card with him/her while accessing the library.
  3. Educational journals & reference books cannot be issued. These can be consulted inside the library.
  4. A book is issued for 14 days. It can be reissued if it is not required by another user.
  5. Any book can be demanded at any time by the librarian, if the same is required in library by any other user.
  6. For the loss or damage of the books, one has to deposit the latest edition of the same book.
  7. To keep silence & discipline in the library is mandatory.
  8. Violation of these rules or undisciplined behaviour in the library will lead to cancellation of membership of the library and disciplinary action will be taken.
  9. The no. of books that can be issued to a B.Ed. student cannot exceed 4 (Four) while that for the M.Ed. students it cannot exceed 6 (Six).

LIBRARY HOURS
The working hours of the Library are from 9 AM to 4 PM, while the issue counter is suspended half an hour before the closing time.

LIBRARY USE
The library is meant for the staff and students of the institute who can make use of library books, facilities and other services in the accordance with the rules of the library.

MEMBERSHIP
Only library members can enjoy the prevalence of borrowing books. The teachers, students & non-teaching staff of the college can enrol themselves as members of the library by submitting one photo and providing the full address. The member should agree to abide by the rules.

LOAN PRIVILEGE
The number of books a borrower can take and the period for which he/she can retain it, is as follows:

  • B.Ed. Students : 4 Books
  • M.Ed. Students : 6 Books 
  • Teaching Staff : 10 Books
  • Non teaching Staff : 5 Books

OVERDUE CHARGES
50 paisa per day is charged after 14 days, if there is delay in returning the book.

OTHER FACILITIES

  • Library has a seating capacity for 50 students & 10 teachers.
  • Reference and information service is provided to the users.
  • Retrospective record of library journals is maintained for the purpose of research work.
  • Book bank facility is provided to the needy & intelligent students.
  • Internet facility is also available in the library.
  • Dissertation & synopsis are provided for research work.
  • Computerized catalogue is available in library through software.
